Hiya,

Im putting together a load of gear for a new build, im going with either a Lian li or silverstone case, TRUE + quietest fans possible, CPU is already lapped and im going to lap the TRUE.

What i want to do is replace the power switch and reset switch and create a CMOS reset switch externally.

I have my eye on the Bulgin type switches, i like the look of the one with a simple white ring, what i need to know is can all three of these switches be the same type i.e momentary type.....im certain that the Power and reset ones are but unsure about the CMOS reset.

Another question is this...can i wire all 3 of the led wires from the switches into one header or are there adapters available which allow plugging 3 or 4 items into one header (does that make sense?)

Because CMOS reset is normally 3 pin, with 1 pair closed for normal, and the other pair closed for reset, you would probably want a 3-pin toggle switch, or maybe one that is in position 1 by default, and can be switched across, but auto returns to default.
The Bulgin momentary double pole switch might work.

You should be able to connect all switch LEDs to one header (so all light come on at same time), but surely you would be better off to use power switch and power light paired, and reset switch and HDD light paired.
The problem with doing the primary option is having LEDs in series or parallel may affect what value resistor you would require to get the LED working.
