Hi Guys, I'm building my brother a computer, He has already bought himself an Intel 805 Dual core, For overclocking purposes obviously.

I just wondered if you could help me with piecing together the rest of his computer.

We don't want watercooling, We are going to do this on air, And we arent going as far as 4ghz with the chip, As i know that kind of clock requires water, We just want a happy medium, Maybe 3.6ghz? Anyways, Could you please spec me the rest of the system?

DDR2 RAM
Motherboard
Case
Cooling (I was thinking Big Typhoon)
GFX Card (PCIe)

Now the budget I would like to keep it as cheap as possible please, But need a good overclocking board I would have thought. GFX wise I don't mind going with Nvidia or ATI, Just want something easy on the bank balance.

Need a PSU?

Yeah, Good point, He'll need a PSU aswell, Thanks for pointing that out :p

I may pick up the X800 from the Bgrade section for 70 quid. Is that better than the 3DFuzion GeForce 7600 GS 256MB DDR2?

It will be faster but won't have support for SM3.0/HDR - updated spec

The Scythe Miné Quiet Heatpipe CPU Cooler you mentioned, I'm guessing it needs another fan buying as it lookes like passive cooling?

Is the Thermaltake big typhoon not better than this?

No and no :p

The fan is in the middle of the heatsink between the 2 sets of fins and it is slightly better than the TTBT.
