New build boot error

Hi
I had my computer booting up yesterday so today I tried to boot and it wont even post the bios.

I have the crosshair mobo and it just says cpu init and stays there so its not even starting to boot.

AMD6000
Asus Crosshair
2G Ballistix
BFG 8800 GTX OC
Corsair 520

Only differance from yesterday I notice is the graphics card starts up with the fan in turbo mode I mean loud as opposed to soft. Is that normal ?

What do I do now?

You could try resetting the BIOS. There should be a jumper marked CMOS. Read your mobo manual for its location and how to use it.

I have cleared the cmos and tried reseating everything the moniter lights up with awaiting signal and when I try to boot up it goes into standby. :confused:

I just reseated the heatsink and noticed a bent pin dont know how it fitted into the socket like that. So straightened it out no differance but the fans spin at half speed for a few seconds and then go flat out. I am going to have another go but if that is the problem then it will either work or get worse. :eek:
