Hey everyone!
I'm pretty new to all of this and have just completed my first build, or almost..
The problem I am having is that my system will not boot when adding a second stick of RAM.
The RAM is identical and brand new (Vengance LPX 3200hz DDR4) and I am using slots 2&4 on the motherboard. The motherboard I am using is the msi B450 Tomahawk Max which I bought from overclockers as brand new.
So the pc boots etc fine if I have just the one stick installed in slot 2, this works for either stick of RAM so I know they both work okay. I have updated the BIOS and tried activating A-XMP Profile 1 then restarting with the 2nd stick of RAM installed only to have the same problem. The EZ DEBUG light for RAM also lights on the mobo when both are installed and I try to boot.
Like I said I am pretty new to all of this and have tried following various instructions from people but nothing has seemed to help, can anyone offer some advice to see if this is an easily solvable problem or whether I have a potentially faulty piece of hardware?
Thanks in advance!
