New build cant install Windows 11

Hi,

I have just built my new pc and it boots up fine, first thing I did was update to the latest BIOS.

I have made a windows 11 USB boot drive on an apple mac laptop with balenaEtcher, it seems to start the install but then I get the error "a media driver your computer needs is missing".

Ryzen 7 7800X3d

Crucial P5 Plus 2TB M.2 2280 PCI-e 4.0 x4 3D NAND NVMe Solid State Drive

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card

Is the m.2 drive seen in the bios correctly? Wondering if this isn't installed correctly or possibly faulty

Try a USB2 port, maybe missing a USB3 driver.

Never used a Mac computer or balenaEtcher so can't comment if this is the problem.

I had to install parrallels on the mac and then use the windows media creation tool in that. It would not work on a USB made within mac os! All good now though, thanks.

This can be a real pain if your bios is not set up properly to allow windows install to find the M.2
