New build check/advice

Was just wondering if you guys could check over my proposed new build that I intend to use for general use & the odd bit of gaming, my original budget was £550-£600 but sadly looks like its going to go over that by the time I'm done so any recommendations would be welcome...

Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H Socket 1155 Motherboard
Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz Socket 1155 CPU
Sapphire HD 7850 OC Edition 2GB Graphics Card
Antec Basiq VP550P - Power supply
Crucial 128GB M4 SSD - 2.5" SATA-III

I'm also looking at banging in 16gb RAM, DVD writer & a not too expensive case. I've got O/S & monitor for now

I would recommend swapping the board for the Z77-D3H

Its the best budget board and has Vcore control to get the most out of the "K" CPU.

Thanks for the reply, it was the Z77-D3H that I had selected, anyway I assume the PSU at 550w is adequate? Any other advice on this setup?

The PSU should be fine, for a gaming rig 8GB of RAM will also be fine.

16gig is over kill, i had 12gig in my system at one point, and never even used 8gig
