Hi all,

I've not built a new PC for a few years and I've never water cooled so I'm looking for confirmation that the water cooler will work with the case and that the money I'm spending is put to the best possible use.

Currently the build cost is about £1700, which I would consider increasing if the gains were worth it. I already have some bits and pieces - BRay drive and SATA storage.

The PC will be used for games and editing (PS~CS).

As I said, this is the first water cooled PC I will build and I want it to 'look nice' and be a quite as possible.

Hi thanks for the reply.

I currently have a Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-850HXUK) but I'd like to build from scratch and give the existing system to my nephew who's just getting into PC gaming (trying to get him away from the PS3).

How loud is that cooler? - as the PC will be sat on the desk next to me in a hot attic room.

I don't tend to 'tinker' a lot with my builds - I like to build and get about 3 years out of it before I start again ~ thats why I went for the i7 just as a future proof thing.
