Hi all!
I have a new build as follows:

Asus ROG Strix Z790-E Motherboard
G.Skill Trident 32GB Ram DDR5-7200
ASUS ROG Strix 4070Ti
Lian Li Dynamic o11 Evo
Asus ROG RyuJin II CPU Cooler
Intel i5-13600KF
Windows 10

--------------------------------------

I immediately experienced complete game cashing, no error messages, sometimes to desktop, sometimes the whole PC crashes forcing restart button presses. I decided to do a Memtest86 test of the RAM from my motherboard Bios and each test has failed, under all configurations of XMPI, XMPII and XMP 'Tweaked' (which are all the available options to me in the A.I Tweaker in the bios). Each of these settings has a target frequency of 7200 in ram.

Please see some screenshots of the test results below:

I don't failures like this are normal but it's been a long time since I did a new build. G.Skill RAM look faulty to you guys?

Maybe I don't understand fully the importance of some of these settings.
My understanding was I can just enable XMP and be done with it.

The RAM is DDR5-7200 16GB x2
CL34-45-45-115 1.40v.

Can you share how you determined the max stock frequency under the 13600KF?

Ah okay.
SO - now retesting at the Reset default speeds, which has put the RAM at 4800mhz... will post the results.

If I then tried anything above 5600mhz....is it is an 'overclock' ? The RAM is DDR5-7200....so this is 'underclocked'? , would the CPU have to be overclocked in some way to work the RAM faster than 5600mhz?
