Hi,

I have just purchased the following new build:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel 5820K 3.30GHz (Haswell-E) Socket LGA2011-V3 Processor - OEM (CM8064801548435) £289.99
1 x MSI X99A SLI Krait Edition Intel X99 (Socket 2011) DDR4 ATX Motherboard £189.95
1 x Samsung SM951 256GB M.2 PCI-e Gen3 8Gbps x 4 Solid State Drive (MZHPV256HDGL-00000) £139.99
1 x Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Full Tower Case - Black £119.99
1 x SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 750W Fully Modular "80 Plus Platinum" Power Supply - White £102.95
1 x Corsair Hydro H100i GTX 240mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060021-WW) £101.99
1 x Kingston Fury Black 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C15 2400MHz Quad Channel Kit - Black (HX424C15FBK4/16) £99.95
Total : £1,044.80 (includes shipping : Ex.VAT).

This will be accompanied by my existing Asus 970 Strix GPU and an exteral 500gb HDD.

My request is for some help on the cooling set up.

I will have the following to place:

Corsair 240mm AIO CPU cooler
2x 140mm fans (with the case)
1X 200mm fan (with the case)
1x EK Water Blocks EK-Vardar F1-120 (1150rpm)
Potentially 1 further 140mm fan from my old Antec 300 case.

Whilst the actual fans may change over time, I am really hoping for some input on the best configuration on intake and exhaust. The CPU will be Overclocked to around 4.2 gig.

Rather than spend a lot of time getting it wrong, I felt it would be better to see what more experienced builders thought on a suitable configuration.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feedback. THat sounds perfect and I'll follow your recommendations.

Looks like I'll need to pick up additional fans for the push pull but it does make sense.
