New Build Crashes on Boot Up

Hello all,

I have just built my computer and I am running into issues. I built everything and all seemed to be going well until I attempted to install Windows. It would begin to install only for a message to come up around the 10% mark saying ‘Windows 11 has failed to install.” I thought I could get around this by swapping my SSD for one which already had Windows 11 on it. My computer begins to boot but never gets any further than the motherboard manufacturer logo. A circle beneath the logo spins around and then freezes.

I have attempted multiple restarts to no avail. I have also switched my RAM out for a set I know works in case it was that but sadly that didn’t work either. I will purchase a new USB stick as well to try and install Windows in case my current one is faulty. I would also attempt to update my BIOS as I have a revision 1.0 motherboard but I am worried it will freeze again whilst updating.

Does anyone know what is happening? I haven’t a clue why this is happening or what I have done wrong. Many thanks for reading.

You are using EXPO RAM? (XMP is for Intel)

You should be ok flashing bios as your motherboard has the Q flash button in case anything goes wrong.

Yeah, I'm using EXPO.

I managed to install Windows 10 and then install Windows 11. All was fine until I restarted it and the same thing happened. It just freezes on the motherboard splash screen.

My next plan of action will be I think to update the BIOS to see if that fixes it.

Thanks for your help!
