Just finished doing clean install of win 7 pro after putting all my shiny new kit in (see sig) and it keeps crashing with mostly these 2 modules.
Anyone got any ideas why and what I can do about it please.

This was likely caused by the following module: ntfs.sys

Try using the minimal components first and see if it's stable..then start adding additional cards such as the X-fi,etc one by one.

you only need the MB/memory/gfx card/CPU/HDD as a minimum to boot up. The SU seems to be a cheaper make so could be struggling with all that stuff..

Tried running everything minimal still same, I also ran memtest as these to be memory related crashes and that reported errors, does this happen that u get 8gb of ram faulty ?

If so do I contact overclockers for RMA or go to OCZ and see what they say ?

If you recently purchased them from Overclockers then you use their RMA system

If it's memory, check that the voltage you are applying is correct - don't trust "auto". The modules will have a label on them with voltage and timings. Go into BIOS and set the values as the label says and then re-test.

Right then adjusted the volts to correct settings, still same so I ran memtest with all 8 gb in errors straight away, took one kit out run again errors straight away again, put other kit in run a few minutes and errors again, just running single strip now erors within a few minutes so does that look like that all 8 gig is faulty ?? bit odd isn't it.

So looks like I will have get on to Overclockers RMA dept in morning. Only had it last Friday :(

I assume your sig should say PC3-12800. Do you have 4*2GB sticks, if so try 2 sticks first, they may not be matched very well. I had this witha XDell PC recently, works fine with 4GB (2 sticks) crashes with 8GB (4 sticks).

Andi.

OOPPS Yeah well spotted 4x2gb strips or 2x4gb kits, I have one stick that seems to be ok other 3 come up with errors in memtest.
