hi peeps.
so much choice at good prices makes system building hard,
problem is i could build a simple setup that cost 153 with what iv been reading it will pretty much do stuff i do with ease but how long will it be before i need to upgrade again.
Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA
Crucial Ballistix 1GB (2x512MB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz
Intel Core 2 Duo E2160

basically i just dump mobo and cpu ram and use my old gf6200agp
any duo/x2 will be better than this ecs k7 + xp2000+
ideal i could afford a e6600 but im unsure is Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA will work with that chip anyone know if it will ?
otherwise e6600 setup prolly bust in to the 350+ as it will basicaly require a full build - hdd case
400 is about the limit and i was hopeing to get vista too.
while im here anyone know if the OCUK GF 8600 or any 8600 comes with a dvi-to-vga dongle/plug converter), most seem to be dual dvi and no info on what u get in the box with the cards ?
