New Build for BF3

Advice Please guys, the last gaming rig I built was a couple years ago and thinking of building a new PC for bf3

I dont have any pc components and want to run it on my 42"led tv HD1080p if possible,, will this spec do it or what would you change?? but i dont want to go much over what iv already got in the basket??

I done need much room for storage so should i go ssd then cheap 500gb? or two 320 raid etc
Help me pls guys :D

The SSD with HDD, it will be much faster.
 
i would check two things:

1) whether that antec can power the 6950, look at the amps on the 12V rail

2) whether the 6950 will fit in the antec 300

everything else looks alright :)

Included a new SATA DVD drive, I assume you need one/your old one is IDE?

Theres money saved, or spend it on a faster graphics card if you got a cheaper case.

Now the only issue I have is spending £70 on what is effectively a £40 case.

But it is a personal choice and you are the one who has to look at it.
 
if you want a red LED fan case then the coolermaster storm scout comes to mind (because the antec 300 is pretty terrible for the price tbh, especially with the fans)
 
great thanks for this, how come you switched to only 4gb ram? from 8gb and im not fussed what the cas looks like (not nasty but no lan party winner lol) any recomendations?
 
I agree the CMs are good, either the storm scout as above or maybe a HAF912
8 gig isnt necessary but given its price Id prob get 8 myself ATM, why not?

Edit: There could be a thread dedicated to new BF3 PCs ATM, lol, or at least upgrades :D

Are you happy to be suggested another case? if so, you can get a monster graphics card.
