thats a personal opinion that I agree with.
 
Great specs for someone running a 19" monitor who mainly wants to use the PC for office work, web and music. How do I know that??? I don't. But how can anyone say whether the OP's spec is suitable when we have no idea what the end-user will be using the PC for or what monitor he has.

'Cmon chaps, basic fact find first. Just because the OP spec'd a 6870 everyone assumes gaming. That's not certain but probably true. However, what monitor the end-user already has is anyone's guess. Its quite possible the end-user only has a 19" in which case a 6870 is truly overkill. Equally he could be looking at gaming on a large TV and that's likely to be at low res too.

What's the end-user's intended uses and what monitor does he have?
