I'm ordering my new build in a week or so, and thought i'd use the time to run it past you guys and see if any changes need to be made. Its mainly for gaming, as well as modelling with 3DS max. My shoppping list looks like this:

Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TwinX (2x1GB)
ATI x1950Pro (which ever's cheapest when i order)

I plan to overclock the CPU to at least 2Ghz, hopefully pushing it up to 2.8Ghz.
As for the GPU, i was planning on a R600 (I'm a bit biased to ATI) but with all the delays i thought i'd wait till summer to make the jump to DX10.
If your interested in what i'm upgrading from, its in my sig.

I'd appreciate it if you guys could point out any glaring mistakes in my build, thanks in advance!

I was worried about the P5B not supporting R600 crossfire due to is PCI-E lane configuration. Also, it only has one EIDE port, meaning that to use all 3 of my EIDE devices i'd need a EIDE to SATA adapter. Is the performance difference that big?

That was my original plan, but the only advantage of the r600 seems to be a slightly higher fsb and support for 3 card crossfire.

Just out of interest, what are the advantages of the P5B Deluxe over the P5W DH? Is it just the higher fsb?
