Hi all,
I'm trying to put a system together for my sister to use for graphic design work. She uses Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CS6 and also CorelDraw x8 and Corel Painter2017.
She's already ordered a BenQ PD3200Q 32 inch 1440p monitor for £400. I want to put the rest together without going much over £1000. She doesn't need a HDD. This is what I've came up with so far:
Case - £55 - Carbide Series 100R Silent Edition Mid-Tower PC Case - Black
CPU - £309 - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz (Kaby Lake) Socket LGA1151 Processor - Retail
Mobo - £165 - Prime Z270-A Intel Z270 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
RAM - £170 - Corsair Vengeance LPX - DIMM 288-pin
SSD - £117 - 250GB Samsung 960 EVO M.2
PSU - £95 - EVGA SuperNova 650W
GPU - £96 - Asus R7 360 OC 2GB GDDR5 DVI-I DVI-D HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card
OS - £10 - Windows 10 Home
Total - £1017
I've done gaming setups before, but not graphic design. Does this look reasonable? Also, if I'm not overclocking, will the stock cooler and built-in case fans do the job?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Wightpants.
