Hi guys,

I have no idea about anything spec wise now, last PC I built was about 8 years ago, and used Mac's since.

So I need a base unit for corel draw and photoshop work, nothing too fancy, just vector work for a laser cutter.

Looking to spend about £300, no need for a fancy graphics card as I wont be playing any games, any help much appreciated.

Sorry yes, I have a copy of W7 for my mac, which never got installed due to a dead dvd drive.

Need mobo, cpu, psu, case, memory, graphics if the onboard isnt good enough and storage (not a lot as I have some Sata 2 drives about for storage.)

I think thats everything.

Cheers for the help Stulid, Is it worth chucking any extra at an I5, or is this wasted on what I need it for?

Id say an i3 would be better for the extra £40 and you still got ~£40 to buy a low spec GPU to take the strain from the RAM and CPU.
