New build for niece

Hey folks

Just thought I’d jump back on and give a wee update.

My nephew and I finally started building the pc, but are having issues with a couple things.

The AIO Cooler I can’t seem to plug it in properly as the LCD Screen doesn’t turn on, the rgb lights are not on but the fans are turning.

The CPU (a 9800x3d) seems to have a red debug light on the motherboard (a msi b850 gaming) Does the AIO need to be working correctly for the CPU to turn on. The rgb on the ram appears on so I’m assuming ram is working fine.

I can’t send a proper list of all components and pictures of anything if that would help.

If the AiO is seated correctly then it would boot. Have you waited for memory training for any length of time? Boot and let it sit for upto 10/15mins.

If nothing then carefully check the CPU is seated in the socket properly and there are no bent pins.

What mobo is it? Does it support the 9000 series out of the box?

As for the AiO screen, not sure what the problem is so yeah pics would help. You need the RGB headers plugged in for that to work, does the mobo have them or do you have a hub?
