Heya,

My dads computer has bitten the dust and i'm looking at a new build for him, they do a lot of weddings so use photoshop/lightroom and general web browsing. Looking at something that'll last him for a few years, he has KB/Mouse, HDMI monitor, OS and hard drives already. Looking for about the £350/£400 mark if wifi comes on the motherboard then brilliant as they use a wifi dongle. He has 3 HDDs and a DVD writer so obviously needs a minimum of 4 SATA ports but probably needs 6 for future upgrades.

Cheers

I hope his drives are all SATA?

• The motherboard has HDMI so yo can use the CPU's built-in GFX.
• i5 so plenty of cores.
• New case is well made and includes two fans.

Are the drives etc still in working condition etc? Also, I don't think integrated WiFi solutions are that great, so best to stick with the dongle :)

Z97 board w/ heatsink and G3528 so you overclock the poo out of the CPU :D

750Ti for decent GPU-based rendering
I expect you'd want to choose your own case/colour combo but the Neos is excellent value :)

8GB RAM, will be supported by the Z97 board at the full 2133Mhz speed and allows an upgrade to 16GB in the future for enhanced editing etc
