3d Modelling...wouldn't you be better with a i7-2600k? I think you would be able to take advantage of the 8 threads when rendering

Yeah, I had been recommended that, but I won't be doing that much 3D modelling, just the odd thing throughout my Uni course, so I dont know if I'm better off putting the saved cash towards the 570 or getting the 2600k and a 560.

Im not a fanboy of nvidia, no. Ive only ever once had an nvidia card and that was when I bought a PC through a retail store like a n00b I just often hear guys who I play online with slating ATi, and compatibility issues and such. I guess I'm just quite naive about it and don't look into it properly.

I like those Corsair bundles, but Im dead set on the White 600T. Its too sexy.

Like 3DS Max, characters, guns, buildings etc. Those kind of things. Basically the final project is to design an entire level, in an FPS style.
