Long time no see overclockers community :) the time has come for me to start a new build and as per I come to the experts for assistance. I am looking at building a BEAST this time round, well as much as one can afford anyway :P

I would like it to run all games effortlessly on full graphics while also running a stream, I would also like it to be compatible with any new chipsets or hardware that may come out for future upgrades.

Am not in much of a rush so should i need to wait between item purchases I shall to make sure I get the best for my buck and what I desire ofcourse, looking to spend between 200-300 a part really where it matters.

Now I have been hearing and reading good things about MSI so was thinking along the lines of

that for starters, is that all compatible and worth it? or would i be better of getting the cheaper socket motherboard and going that route? please feel free to suggest what you would do.

thanks for the reply m8, yeah similar ideas but I think I am after maybe spending a little more and like mentioned earlier i have heard MSI is good so am looking to try get MSI parts where possible and if not MSI then Asus seem to be doing fairly nice work from what I hear.

i think i might go for this... let me know what u guys think.

(is that compatible and will it fit?)

and if you could suggest good cooling for me? possibly water cooling? which i have never fitted before so i hope it is not to hard :P and am not sure what i need for it.

i see people posting their builds more like this so if it makes it easier....

Z170A Gaming M7 Intel Z170 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor - Retail
Dominator Platinum 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-29200C18 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (CMD8GX4M2
GeForce GTX 970 Gaming Edition 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Professional Series AX 760W '80 Plus Platinum' Modular Power Supply (CP-9020045-UK)
2x 950 Pro 256GB M.2 PCI-e 3.0 x 4 NVMe Solid State Drive? do they fit?
Phantom 820 Enthusiast Ultra Tower Case - Gun Metal

the TI that much better? would the rest not suffer to much? would it not be better to get the parts I suggested and then look to upgrade the graphics card to that one later down the line? also what about the fact I wanted MSI components where possible? or are they not really any better?

i kinda am looking to have all killer components not some killer and some not.

was my build **** then? :P

I mean I do like your build, but what if I got the items I listed with the Ti u suggested? Also is water cooling hard to set up? And is it needed if I don't intend on overclocking? Or you suggest I also overclock?

oh yeah ofcourse cooling is needed, i just meant if i am not planning on overclocking it would be fine with air? :P well the motherboard, ram etc you suggested are just as good as the ones i picked? if so why so much cheaper? the ram i picked had higher rates etc which make a difference right? i am not really on a budget so preferably i want parts that will not need upgrading for a while.
