New build, getting the connectors right- first time!

Hi.
Just a quick one, im currently making up a new build. Everythings in and so far so good. I have two questions however.

1. The fan on the back of my case is connected to two 4 pin molex's. The system fan on the mobo is a three pin connection. Do i just connect one of the 4 pin molex's to a 4 pin on the psu? Or am i better disconnecting the two 4 pin molexs and just plugging the three pin socket straight into the system fan slot.

2. I am not currently installing a GPU, i have a deciated pci-e cable from my psu. Does this still need to be plugged in regardless of whether there is a card present, or can this be cable tidied away untill a card is used?

might aswel plug it straight into the molex, as plugging the 3pin will do the same, it will just not be drawing power from the motherboard.

and no you can tuck that away

The disadvantage with using the molex rather than the 3 pin on the MB is that you will not be able to monitor the system fan.
