Hey OC,
Ordered some new bits from OC last week, building a new PC for my flatbuddy..
Basically got it working eventually, but after loading up Starcraft2 we noticed some odd things.
First of all, artifacts in the background of the in-game interface. Once actually in a match, the games graphics will freeze when theres a lot of action going on, and an alt-tab is needed which reveals the usual graphics driver has stopped responding error, tabbing back will resume the game normally, happens every minute.
Running Vista
GFX Card is a new ATI VFX 6870, new mobo, cpu, RAM and HD all bought from OC.
PSU is a 700w rated generic branded brick, cit or something.
I had to buy a molex -> 6pin adapter as the PSU only has one 6pin PCI-E cable.
What do you reckon, power issue? Bad graphics card?
I'm going to run furmark tonight and stress test it to make sure its not anything else. All drivers and software up-to-date.
