New build gigabyte 970 no ssd in bios

Put a new build together using Gigabyte 970A-DS3P AMD 970A and having problems finding ocz arc 100 240gb ssd in bios.

On UEFI screen I get a warning 'no bootable device detected'.

SSD plugged into Sata port 0 and I've enabled AHCI in bios.

Help!

I would re check the sata cable and power cable, make sure they are securely connected to the drive if they are try another port on the board

does the drive appear at all under the bios options?

make sure all the sata ports are set to achi as some boards like mine have the sata 3 and sata 2 which are separate and both need changing to achi depending on what ports your using
