Hi guys any help please install the asus hd 6970 2gb all works installed
when every i run 3d mark or any game vga card fan goes mad and the screen goes bank and i need to restart windows any help please

1. What drivers are you using?
2. Have you connected both the 8 pin and 6 pin power connector?
3. What mobo is it? What slot do you have the card in?
4. What PSU have you got? What the rest of your spec?
5. Have you got any third-party software installed such as Afterburner or Tray Tools?

drivers ones that came on dvd withthe card
asus p8p67m pro
yep both 8 and 6 pin pluged in
650 w psu
intel i7 2600k cpu
8gb of ram
only software install came off the disk

Software on the disc is guaranteed to be old, get the new ones (11.5) from amd.com.

Old driver still shouldn't do that. Sounds like an inadequate/defective PSU or GPU.

But yes, you should try the new driver and if it still does that look into the PSU or consider that the GPU is bad.

What is the model of your PSU?

took card out tryed a ato 5450 and that works tryed on 750 psu still not good think its afault card?
