New Build help needed

Hello Guys

I have not had a main pc for a number of years and lost track of the Latest Technology , so i might have trouble

So could you help ?

I have around £1000 to spend , i need no monitor as i will be using my Sony 26 inch lcd ? would this be ok ?

I dont play that many games only FPS , i will be using photoshop cs for work , i need something that will last me a few years

Is the resolution on your LCD TV good enough for Photoshop work? As I understand it they don't tend to have very high resolutions so that might be an issue if you need fine detail.

What connections does your TV offer? Does it accept HDMI or DVI or both? I'll assume it takes DVI.

For £1000 you should include a monitor which will be specifically excellent for Photoshop (can still hook up the 26").

that case is a little ott, and I've just had a wd drive fail on me, so i wouldn't get a wd drive personally.

you could save money on the cpu cooler, and the case if he is nbot oc'ing, a pc-7 and a quiet zalman cooler or summit.
