Hi all,
Just put together my order which I received yesterday from ocuk as an upgrade to a older system.

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz
Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5
Zman ZM600-HP
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2

2X Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB

Having a issue though.

It only powers up for a second and then shuts straight back down

Tested with different ram slots etc, and without drives attached just trying to get in to the bios etc.

Any idea what is likely the cause for this?

Just looking for the first things to look for.

Many thanks, Thomas

Have you got the extar power lead into the board near the cpu socket?

Is the cpu heatsink fan plugged into the correct CPU_FAN header?

got the CPU_FAN In yes.
Should the ATX12V be connected? Is that the one you refer to?
Thanks for the quick reply!
Thomas.

Thanks!
Getting in to the bios now - so should be fine from here!
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers,
Thomas.

I keep getting a prompt as I installed windows 7 from a USB pen drive that a driver is required from a CD/DVD - even when I un-plug the DVD drive it askes the same thing, so I guess the SSD (M40) is not being picked up correctly.

Any ideas how to sort this please?

Thanks, Thomas :)

I don't have any OS on at the moment. (I'm trying to installed Win 7 pro 64bit)

I've used the Windows 7 boot tool to create the stick, it starts the install but shortly after it asks for the driver for the drive whivh I presume is the SSD as its the only hard disk I have connected at this time.
