Currently sorting out my self a new PC build after having insurmountable problems with my current PC

My 10yr old Lian Li PC60 case is off to the naccers yard replaced by a mini Itx board case
Coolermaster Elite 130
be quiet 530wt bronze PSU
I7 4770k cpu
Asus impact Mitx Mobo ROG
thermalright ax100 heatsink cooler
120mm be quiet cooling case fan

coming from the old machine
2 x 4gb samsung green
Samsung 830 sdd 128gb
OCZ Vertex 2 SSD 64gb
2tb storage 7200rpm drive (samsung)
1 blu ray writer

couple of questions I am NOT a gamer so will be using on board graphics HD4600 which is more than enough for my photo editing needs

the install of window 7 is the one that has me thinking the best way of installing it

my disc is an upgrade disc and when I installed it on my last pc I had to install the previous disc onto the hard drive first.. is there an easier way of doing this than say wasting an hour to then run Win 7 over the top of it

my hard drive for the boot drive is still intact with my now broken down MSI pc

if I put the win 7 disc in will it let me run it over the top of the MSI installation that already exsists on the ssd drive
seems to me it will save a lot of messing around if I can do it straight over everything on the disc and format the drive after veryfying the disc etc

and any one see any glaring glitches in my choice of components
thanks
