Lo all just finished sig rig and having a few teething problems.

1st one was ATI drivers 10.5 and 10.6 simply will not install whats up with that? brand new SSD with windows 7 double click the exe goes all the way to say it's finshed but nohing...no CCC no drivers, rebooted and it just uses VGA drivers ay way used 10.4 and they working normal but how odd?

Ok the real problem is im using the Intel 80GB SSD as a boot drive i have turned on ACHI in the bios and everthing runs ok when i add my samsung F1 it trs to boot from this. When i go to change boot priority the SDD does not show up just allows me to sellect the f1 or dvd ideas please?

Last problem is a i got windows 7 retail from here installed it once on my UD5 now it tells me my CD is invalid when trying to use it on my RE3 and to buy a new key, thought i get more then 1 use out a retail?

tell it to boot from the raid contoller first?

if you have enabled ACHI then this is turned on.

re=download the ati drivers?

cheers stu, yeah d/l both sets drivers today so cant be bad d/l after the 3rd set very odd 10.4 are ok so no major prolems there

ACHI is defo on in the bios so i have no idea wh its trying to boot from the samsung

sorry, what i meant was,

set first boot device as/to the raid controller.

disable all others

ok sorted, thanks again stu...here the fix turn the pc off in a huff go downstairs drink 1 pint of coke steal a strawberry from a 2yr old and then go back to the pc and turn it on to find that now boots from my SDD and sees both my 320GB and 1TB drive no problem... :confused:

Right the any ideas how to sort out the windows 7 key?
