I’m looking to buy some components for my system build.
I’m looking to build a quiet system that will play the latest games on full setting like 1280x1024 with ease, but the systems primary use will be for full video and image editing with high data storage
I’ve been looking at the following:-
AMD 64x2 may be 3800+ or the 4200+ with heat pipe cooling
ATI X1900 but not sure about Crossfire
The motherboard should have SATA hot swap compatibly for use with Vantec EZ Swap removable 5.25" HDD Rack and I will be buying full 4GB of compatible ram.
My case is waiting to be filled, at the moment it has two 580w Hiper Modular Type R PSU's, 6 SilenX fans 3x60mm 3x120mm, space for 9 HDD's not including the 10 5.25" drive bays
Would you please recommend components for me to look into.
I was looking at having two monitors like the Viewsonic VP930 19" for graphics and the Viewsonic VX924 for games, but now I like the look of the NEC LCD20WGX2 for my monitor, but I’m not going to pay £411 for a monitor with dead pixels, do OcUK or NEC offer any guarantee for this.
