New build help!

Okies. Specs in sig.

I put it all together(first intel build) and when i turn it on it turns on ok, but it doesn't display anything to the screen. All the fans spin real fast though. I checked the power to the gcard and its fine.

help!

btw, when installing the conroe, it doesn't "slot in" does it? you just put it there and let the braket thing do the rest of the work with the lever right?

I'm starting to worry now! Could it be down to me putting the pins incorectly(power,reset,hdled etC)? I don't think i have but i followed the instructions

why does the monitor stay on standby i dont understand arrrrrrrrrg :mad:

are all your power cables plugged in??? this happened to me aswell in my case all it was was the power cable that is supposed to be plugged in near to the cpu wasnt (stupid me) , so i plugged it in and it worked.

They are plugged in. I had to plug in 2 to the ATX connector on the board, 1x20pin and 1x4 pin , that right?

Does conroe have its own power supply?

ARGH i havnt plugged anything into ATX_12V!! What goes there? just a cable from the PSU?

probably but i have never built a conore system and i have never seen a graphics card that has to be plugged into the psu

Just installing stuff now gonna post benchies soon

Does anyone know what tool i can use to speed up the AF7 CPU fan, easytune doesnt have a tool like that.

why. since its plugged in it should spin faster the hotter the cpu gets. why would you want to make it louder otherwise
