Hi folks
I'm looking to build a new system but since it's been a few years since I last done one I am out of touch with current specs.

Looking for a decent spec, I used to play games on the PC all the time but I also have a 360 and PS3 for playing games but I would still like the option to play the latest games on the PC. So I was thinking of a 8800 card. I also need a OS and was thinking of Vista Home Premium.

Basically the only thing I will be keeping from my current system is the 19" Samsung monitor, speakers and mouse/keyboard.

Budget is around £600 if possible, I could go a little extra if needed.

Any help would be great thanks.

The E2160 will overclock to 2.8GHz without much effort, the less cache doesnt make much difference in games.

Thanks for the advice.

I have went a bit over my planned budget because I have changed the processor to a E6750 or would it be better value to stick with the E2160 (not got a clue about overclocking  )

Also what cooling would be required ? and the PSU that comes with the case would that be okay ?

Thanks again

The PSU , although not spectacular, will be enougth for your system. Something along the lines of a tuniq 120 cooler would be good, though im not sure on clearance in that case.

Clocking the E2140/E2160 to ~2.8ghz is simple, just envolves changing 1 number and testing for stability.
