New Build Help

I've just got round to putting my new bits and pieces together, but im having some problems. Specs:

Abit ip35-e
e2180
2gb ocz ram
tuniq 120 cooler
160 sata drive
300w psu
pci-e radeon x300

There is power to the board, led lights up. Hard disk spins up and it powers up at boot, i'm getting no error beeps but no display.

Edit: I know the monitor, psu and hd definately work.

Noiw i cant test any of the new bits, because this machine is old and i bought the graphics card from the members market here.

Any suggestions?

the card has vga and dvi, but this old testing monitor only has vga.

I've tried it with each stick of ram, no joy

The psu is just an old 300w generic effort

I've got a core2duo dell machine i use in work, i'm thinking of taking it in with me and trying the graphics card, ram etc

Not as yet, i thought this might happen. My original fear was the psu wouldnt upto the job in hand
