Hi, I'm not sure about the rest of the bits, but a 520 PSU will be fine. Just make sure it's a good one. (not a free cr4ppy one that you get thrown in free with a case).

Hi Shrapnel thanks for the quick reply i had the case and got the psu unit free with it how can i tell if its any good? Im a noob at building computers and this is my first time.

Generally speaking those psu's will work ok.... for about a year. And they are usually as noisy as Heathrow.

If the case came with a psu then you can take it for granted that the psu is rubbish (apart from Antecs of course). Atrix are just a cheap and nasty budget psu and if it fails could well take some of your components with it. The psu is one of the most important components in a pc so you are best off getting a decent one. I would have suggested the Corsair VX450w but it is out of stock so the cheapest i would go for on here is the Antec Earthwatts 500w . It's efficient and has dual 12v rails but is not modular. If you want modular you will have to pay more.

I'd say if you have at least 22amp on 12v rail than it will run it ok. It should say on the side of the PSU. AS mentioned you'd better of getting better one.

Your mobo will work with 8800gt fine.

Hi bayo000 this is the specs on the side of the psu

Atrix extreme power ATX 12v p4

switching power supply

The specs are: AC Input 230 v/ac 10A 50 - 60Hz

+3.5v - +5v - +12v - -5v - -12v - +5vsb
28A - 35A - 30A - 0.5A - 0.8A - 2.5A

Could also someone tell me if that card will work with that m/b becouse the card says its PCIE 2.0?

Thanks.

Shouldn't have problem to run your system with that psu. Not sure bout quality tho. Try to google for some reviews about it.

As i said your card will work fine, only thing is that it wont be able to take advantage of pci-e 2.0 My mobo doesn't have pci-e 2.0 either and i got 8800gt as well. Think the cheapest pci-e 2.0 motherboard is around £130 atm.
