i just restarted the mobo and it bluescreend on me then restarted and it was fine

Also whenver i restart the pc doesnt power off completly before powering back on not sure if thats standard but all the other pc ive ever had powers off then on when restarting

PLEASE HELP!!

it does look as if its the ram i'll try what you have suggested. i leak tested for 48 hours. tissue round the barbs to insure no slow leaks. i think im just real stressed and not thinking correctly. this is my first water cooling build and its made me a little nervous lol

ok heres the latest!

I have removed both ram moduals and inserted one at a time in different slots.

the pc then didnt reset itself however there was no graphics the monitor continued to flash as if no cable was inserted. i took the graphics card out reinserted and nothing i then put the ram moduals back to how they were before and re inserted the gpu again (its a sapphire hd4870 btw) pulled the battery on the mobo and it restarted about 5 times and now its up and running again (on the 4th reset i got the blue screen of death again!) any other ideas

heres the lateset!

i have tried removing the ram moduals and inserting one at a time in different slots! when i switched back on i had a reported AMI Bios code stated that the pc was awaiting a graphic device and the monitor would not switch on! i tried removing the gpu (a saphire hd4870) and reinstall but with no joy. i had to replace memory back to its origional slots (both needed installing to p.o.s.t but i beleive thats normal with this cpu) then reinstall the gpu afte pulling the cmos battery it posted but again reset 3 times bluescreened on the 4th and powered up sucessfully on the 5th. im going to try using my old ram now to see if that makes a difference. i also used vistas memory diagnostic tool for reported errors on my current ram but it didnt find any. i will run the mem test previously suggested and if that doesnt work then swap rams i think!

ANY FURTHER ADVICE GRATELY APPRECIATED

Tried known good ram from my old rig and got the same problems mem check shown no problems with both sets of ram and I've had to put the origional ram back in to try and get a display on the minitor... Nothing! Tried a known good graphics card from my old rig... Still nothing. I can't even get a p.o.s.t on my new rig now so I think there's a fault with the mobo... Before I rma it does anyone have any other thoughts. I've been building pc's for a while now and never seen this before but I've never had the misfortune of a faulty mobo before either. Its got to be a general mobo fault... Right?

Checked gpu and ram in old rig. Its working fine! Can't get into bios in the new rig as it either won't post or wneh it does the ami bios code states that its waiting for user graphic interface
