Hi,

Just build up a system with one of OCUK i5 bundles and the H50 Corsair cooler. I have attached one intake to front, one exhaust to the roof and the corsair fan exhausting to the rear. Does this configuration sound ok? The instructions say to use fan as intake but I have read elsewhere that exhaust is fine.

What kind of temps should I be expecting as normal? I really haven't a clue on this sorry.

I have been having random freezes where I return from a trip downstairs and have a black screen - have to reboot to get it going again. Any ideas of things to check?

I just hope I have the thing built properly. I put the H50 pins into the top CPU_FAN header and then SYS_FAN2 for the pump power. Other fans are going into the SYS_FAN headers. I noticed one section called PCH_FAN. Do I need something in it?

I think i will have loads more questions so will keep this thread for them all!

Thanks in advance

I am getting issues where everything just goes black and I have to do a hard reset to fix it. Not impressed so far after shelling out all this cash on a new machine!

I am reinstalling windows at the moment just to try everything from scratch. I am using a Powercolor 5850. Not sure if it is oc'd or not. So annoying these issues. I had the huge cursor issue also. I tried the hotfix earlier but same issues.

Still getting crashes and total system freezes when trying out Flight Sim X - the main reason why I bought this stupid thing.

Should I be installing everything under the stock bios settings and then loading the overclocked profile after that? Does that make any difference?

It is one of the overclocked bundles from OCUK so all I have is 2 profiles OCUK 1 and 2. I am currently running back at 2.66Ghz and having no problems so far. Not sure what would be up.

Well I just cannot tweak the settings these guys have given me in the bundle as I don't want to void warranty. Sounds like I am stuck with it then. Currently running at the stock profile with no issues. Turning it up to 4Ghz causes crashes.

I did that. They are sending me out new BIOS settings. I guess that means I will be getting lower speeds that advertised in the bundle? I am trying things again at stock to see what happens.

Any good free benchmark tools i can run to check for issues?
