New build help

I'm In the process of researching products for my new build as my current one is outdated.

I am buying a Mobo/Cpu/Cpu cooler/Case/Maybe Ram.

My question is, should I buy a ddr2 mobo or make the move to ddr3(having to buy new ram), I currently have :

4gb ddr2 ram

Also is it worth buying parts seperatly or just buying a motherboard bundle?

For a new build you might as well start with new tech. So DDR3 is the natural step forward, the lower end Dual Channel kits aren't too expensive and are genrally good overclockers.

If you are unsure we offer many different RAM/mobo/CPU DDR3 bundles, all of which are pre-overclocked aswell.

What kind of processer were you looking at? AMD or Intel? Dual/quad/six core?
