Im looking to build a new pc mainly for gaming. from what i understand amd cpu's are not as good as the sandybridge. Ive got a budget of £550

I have got or been given the following
Coolermaster 690 II Lite
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W
Sony AD-5260S-0B 24x DVD-SM Internal SATA
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB x2 (going to raid-0 them)
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Express
Windows 7 64bit retail

Ive gone a little over my budget just need feedback if the specs are any good

No need to spend so much on the cooler IMO, RAM can be had cheaper too, beware of shoppng round as you usually end up having to pay multiple P&P costs, best to get form one place (OcUK)

Only thing I'd say is you could go for the GD65 with the Hyper 212+ cooler for £140 and have a more future proof board for round about the same money....

EDIT:

I take that back actually, the GD53 is virtually the same as the GD65, both offer two x16 PCI-e ports and will run at x8 x8 if you go crossfire/sli. Sorry.

got confused with the C45 I think
