New build help

Hi guys,

I been out of the pc gaming realm for about 10 years so I'm really rusty and never built my own.

I am concidering the following but would like your advice to see if compatability is good and also if there's better alternatives for around the same price.

X570 tomahawk
Ryzen 5 3600
Msi radeon rx5700 xt gaming 8gb

Ryzen 5000 series CPUs are out later this week and Radeon RX 6000 GPUs are out imminently.

The motherboard a good option? I was also looking at the gigabyte x570 aorus elite too but I think im leaning towards the x570 tomahawk

The X570 Tomahawk is a great buy, stick with it.

There are solid B550 options, but depends on your needs.

Cpu around £200 mark and gpu ideally no more than
£400
Might be able to go slightly higher depending on a few factors

Well at £200 for the cpu look at amd

as for gpu maybe look at 2nd hand to get a decent spec

1080 for now but wanting to go 4k at some point
