Hello,

i have posted numerous times regarding this issue.

I RMA'd the ram as it had compatibility issues with my DS3. Got the new GeiL and still nothing. Everything is connected and powered. I get no beeps, no image. Does this suggest a dead mobo or what? (Everything powers up)

How do you flash the BIOS if you dont get any vga output?

Sounds like a dead CPU to me as if it was anything else you would get a beep code.

Although, if the motherboard was dead in most cases you would get a beep code but it depends what is actually dead on it as to whether you would get the beep code or not I think.

Regards,

Look in the motherboard manual and check all the jumpers are set right. They basically allow you to choose settings on the motherboard by changing a pin over to either pins 1-2 or 2-3 depending on whether you want the setting on or off.

Try looking for the clear CMOS jumper and set it to clear for 2 minutes with no power lead going to the PSU and then set it to run and try powering up the system.

just jumped my cmos, as stuff changed. :)

my keyboard now lights up, but still no video signal to the monitor.. im so confused why.

any other ideas. Mobo is getting power. fans are all spinning. usb devices lighting. NO VGA!! Help me please

if the keyboard lights light up should be working?, do you get any beeps now?

i had a issue years ago, really weird one, almost the same thing. Bassically, i was using a cheap nasty Asus mobo, had a 16 pin male connector for monitor... and i had some cheap 6300 in the machine, i think anyway :s was yonks ago, bassically, i had to use the mobo connector for the monitor (with the gfx still in the PCI slot) which only then would it boot up on screen, then once i installed the gfx drivers, rebooted, and connected the mon to the gfx card, would it show on the monitor... give it a try

if it has 2 connectors to the monitor try both, my x1900xt has 2, and it would only work with it connected in the right slot (looking at it from the rear of the case)

RMA'd the card and mobo.. ill just have to pay the charges.. if it shows nothing wrong on either than im screwed :)
