hey just built a new pc and have gone for first boot, the lights come on and all fans are spinning but i cant get any image on screen, disk drives open etc, i can seem to figure out what the issue could be as this is the first time. graphics card is passing out air and taking in but no screen image, also case buttons dont work such as power on/off and i have to use the buttons on the mobo, any ideas would be great thanks

aren't any shorts from what i can see, hard drives aren't making a noise either fixed case buttons now though, mobo usbs aren't working but haven t installed drivers yet so wouldn't expect them ti its basically just that we aren't getting any picture from the graphics card.

is this a fresh install of OS aswell, and what was the problem with case buttons, and list what parts you have used in you build please

cant install os because no screen.....

buttons issue was the plug had come undone

parts take to long to write its dominator ram, i7 processor, 260 maxcore BFG, asus delux board. i think maybe it could be the processor that wrong if the drives dont seem to eb spinning and the card wont display as all fans and lights and buttons work fine????

is there any error lights or error diagnostic with your board, have you read the mobo manual to see if there is a diagnostic feature for your board

there has been four bios release's for the p6t deluxe (im guessing this is your board) since release and the second was for , quote from asus

P6T Deluxe 0804 Bios
1. Improvie Memory compatibility

2. Revised QPI/DRAM Core Voltage setting in CPU Level Up

3. Support new CPUs. Please refer to our website at: http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx?SLanguage=en-us"

so i would check if your cpu is suported
