New build issues

Just finished building my new pc after 8 years of holding out on my old pc.

However it's not going smoothly. I've barely been about to get past bios. I plan to install win10 and have the install usb for this. If I load up the USB select language etc and pick a drive then it starts doing the install, then about 30 seconds later the screen freezes and I get no further.

Specs
Gigabyte aorus master mobo
i9 9900k
32gb corsair dominator c16 ram (2 x 16gb) ( only 16gb currently plugged in)
Corsair h115i aio cooler
Hx1200 corsair 1200w psu
(Not installed) 2 x 1080ti msi Seahawks (due to the issues, removed to see if was problem)
2 x m.2 hard drives

As the mobo defaults to having boost on it's set cpu at 4.7ghz which results in temps around 70c in bios. Probably would go higher if left on for 5 mins.

After very quickly turning off boost it currently sits @ 3.6ghz at 46c stable in bios.

I've tried reseating the aio 3 times
Removing 1 stick of ram (and swapping them to see if there was a bad stick)
Removing graphics cards

Any suggestions, I've ran out of things I know to test.

The aio has the mini usb wire to the usb headers at the bottom of the mobo.
The fans are plugged into a joiner then get power from sata.
Theres then a 3 pin wire that is plugged into the CPUOPT slot near the top of the mobo

Also I don't know or can't tell if the pumps on. I can't change any pump settings anywhere.

Also just tried again and it did the same, now in bios temps are going to to 60c with no overclocking

In the BIOS, under the MIT tab there should be a Smart Fan 5 Settings:
GIGABYTE%20Z390%20Aorus%20Master%20BIOS%20%2812%29.jpg

If you go into that, you should be able to adjust the pump speed:
GIGABYTE%20Z390%20Aorus%20Master%20BIOS%20%2810%29.jpg

You could also try just connecting the pump to a pump header.

I set the fan speed at full, but seems like it was on full already. Cant see option to adjust pump?

But it does show a flow rate of 18.5 l/m

With the aio the 2 fans and pump were connected using joiners into the 1 header. So the fans would adjust to the temp.

I have disconnected them and plugged the 2 fans in cpu fan and cpu opt, and plugged the other one into pump 5 header.

So cpu fan and cpu opt are now showing 2250 rpm ( I put them on full in bios )
And pump 5 shows 1550 rpm, which is what it was showing for the combined earlier.

Temp started at about 35 and is slowly creeping up to 41 so far, but its slowly going up.
I might try the win10 install again see if it works.

Before installing Windows, it's better to try to make sure the temps are reasonable first. If you leave it idle in BIOS for a while, are you still reaching ~60°C?

Wasnt watching it and its dropped! Its 45c atm.

I've just looked it up on my phone the latest is F9, I'm 2 versions behind.

Temp is stable at 45 atm, just downloaded the latest bios and have it ready on a usb stick, going to update the bios see if it improves things or I brick the mobo.

Bios update successful.

Quick panic as the temp went up to 70 after the reboot but it was cause all went back to default and turned on boost again, disabled that now down to 45c atm. Seems stable at that.

It looks like the cpu voltage is lower then before, it's on auto but running at 0.972v. I don't remember exactly what is was before but it was over 1v.

Shall I try a win10 install now?

It seems that's what it was. The bios.
Installed perfectly then after bios update. Thanks an0nym0us you've been an amazing help to me.

In windows on idle its dropped to 39c.

I'm going to slowly add back the ram, graphics cards, etc..

No problem. Hope it's all sorted now.
