New build issues

So got my system back from its second RMA today and it is still having the same issue which they could not replicate, I am guessing because they were in safe mode. I started a new account following the fresh install of windows that was on there, but every 4 minutes windows restarts itself (the tower does not restart). On looking in event viewer there are various bits about windows for business, CPID and APPID but no idea how they may impact it.

I have posted in the CS forum but hoped someone here may be able to provide some advice as not sure how long will take them to respond and I really do not want to send it back for a third time!

I would have thought that would have come up during one of their tests? It was tested when first built and then would have been tested after both RMAs.

It was ordered 28th Jan and delivered 11th Feb, and I have only had it with me a few days in total between RMAs so gettimg rather frustrated now!

The only things I can think of are power maybe on my wiring (but then strange the tower stays on without a flicker) or a conflict in windows permissions from their version and admin settings to the account I set up when first turning it on.

Would being on wifi cause this rather than hard wired internet like they used for testing?

I really want to avoid sending it back if I can. It has spent more time with DPD than with me at this point!

I will try and give the things suggested here a go and give them a call to see what they can suggest if nothing works

The CS forum person suggested it may be my surge protector as they have seen issues caised by those before. It is a four way Belkin one rated for 525 joules bought around the same time as system so brand new as well.

I am very reluctant to try plugging it in without a surge protector though but not sure if the joules rating is too low for my system.

Hopefully it is not the electrics, place was rewired just over a year ago!

Windows just stops and goes back to the sequence you get just after you turn the tower on, but at no point do the lights etc om the case or mobo go out if that makes sense? That is what makes me think the tower does not restart, just windows rebooting, but admittedly I know nothing about these things

Plugging straight into wall didn't help, had same issue as before.

Tried turning XMP off and then noticed there were windows updates pending install even though had been told all updates had been done, so went to install them and it caused chaos, update failed and undid itself.

Have now turned it all off and unplugged it before I launch it out of the window.

I do not understand how it can get through three rounds of testing and each time only have problems when it gets to me. It is as though the issue does not show in the safe mode of windows that they use, but only shows up when an account is set up.

Getting to the point where I may just push for a refund.

They did a fresh install of windows last time it went back and swapped mobo and ssd but still having same issue.

I cannot fault their customer service, but I just cannot understand why it is still having issues.
