New Build just switching off

hey guys

so ive got round to sorting my build out and got it all plugged in and powering on, but as soon as the power supply is switched it turns on and about 4 seconds later just switches itself back off. The only time it doesn't do this is if my 4pin connecter isn't plugged into my mother board. but then no display is found.

any ideas?

parts are;

MSI A75IA-E53
AMD A8-6600K 3.90GHz
Corsair CS550M 550W
Powercolor Radeon R9 270 TurboDUO
Corsair Vengeance Low ProfileDDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Try a CMOS reset, sometimes this helps.

Also check the Memory is in the correct slots.
