Made a new build for my GF however it keep crashing, and for the life of me I cannot work out why. I have tested all of her components in my comp without any issues, so I am not sure it is a hardware issue.

We bought the following items:
MSI HD 7770 Power Edition Transthermal OC 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i3-3220 3.30GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB
OcUK Battle 650W Dual Rail High Efficiency
GeIL EVO Leggera 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit

And the usual case/cooling bits.

The crashes happen very often and at any point. During boot up, during log in, during gaming, and when it is doing nothing, it can crashes 10+ a day, to the point that she doesn't use it any more, and obv I would like to get this fixed :)

Everything on the comp has been updated, and it is running Windows 7 64bit.
I have ran checks on the disks there fine, we installed windows and her drivers on 3 diff HDD's and they all crashed.

Everything is properly connected, and it is not running hot, and I have no idea why this could be happening

Any clues? If you need certain reports to help let me know :)

I will dump my PSU in the rig and see if it stays steady. We actually ended up with a dif PSU than the one we ordered. We asked OCuk CS but we never got a reply :(

what bios are you using? and what memory dram and qpi/vtt voltages? random shut offs can be memory related also

look in the bios, look for dram voltage and cpu/vtt voltage you might need more with 16gb of memory, try setting x.m.p if your memory supports it,it will setup the memory for you then

its all in the bios
