Hi

I have just built PC with following specs tonight

Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H-BK - Devil's Canyon Core
i7 4790K CPU
16GB DDR 3
EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
SSD 512Gb

However it keeps restarting in Windows, anywhere from seconds to about 10 mins in.

I have tried reinstalling Windows, checked RAM, temps are about (50C-70C on stock cooler), cleared CMOS.

Any ideas what to try next?

Cheers

One thing I have found, it always crashes when I run 'Rate my PC' the thing in Windows that give you a system score

What stage, mem, disk, video processor?

Does same thing happen with 1 stick of RAM?
What GPU?
Is it on latest BIOS?

Just updated the Bios from v4 to v6 and temps are about 10C cooler, will see how this runs at the moment... Thanks for the advice, heres hoping that fixes it

CPU is spinning, reseated it and dropped about 5C off temps.... May need to get a CPU cooler quicker.

Will re-check tonight, but seemed to be running a bit better after the Motherboard Upgrade.

Thanks all for your help, will keep you updated.

Edit] Sorry missed the key question, I took those temps idle out of Bios
