Hello Guys
I've got a 3090 in my current build paired with an Intel 8700k - Thinking it's about time to retire the CPU into a media server role.
From reading I can get a sizeable fps increase with the CPU/Motherboard/Ram pathway. Thought process is this leaves me open to upgrade the GPU in the 5000 generation.
I would look to move one of the rigs into a my other be quiet 800. So a new PSU/Cooler could be wise as I can shift parts around.
Fractal was quieter as solid side panels - but happy to follow advice on which one to utilise for the main build. RGB is not key as the window faces to a wall.
Thanks.

Intel 8700K
Asus X Hero
GTX 3090
8Pack 32GB 3600MHz
Corsair RM750i
be quiet Dark Rock ELITE CPU Air Cooler
Fractal Define 7
With that in mind I have about £2k to spend on upgrading the rig. Which from my view 2k is probably(?) overkill as I can bring the 3090 over. Usage is 4k gaming & Excel (Haha). From reading I can get a sizeable fps increase with the CPU/Motherboard/Ram pathway.
