Hi there
I'm new to the forum and was hoping you could help me finding a solution. I've been all mac since going to university in 2006 and when I finished i've been video editing which I enjoy very much! So a few years ago I got the mac pro dust bin which is great but I'm thinking I could have and still could get more for my money so I'm considering selling that and going PC.
The mac pro spec is - 2013 3.5 GHz MD878 6-CORE INTEL XEON E5 16GB 2XD500.
So I'm looking for something quite powerful and I've been hearing quite a lot about the new NVIDIA GeForce 1080. What builds would you recommend? Intel is a must! Only thing is I need it to be super quiet. The Mac Pro doesn't make a sound even when it's rendering a beast.

I think budget wise, something around 2k.
