Workstation PRO Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz @ 4.50GHz Overclocked Bundle

For the sake of 100mhz on the OC and £100 Ill get 16Gb ram with the Workstation PRO , seems a no brain-er to me, so what am i missing????

Cheers 95thrifles,

Call it brand loyalty, but every-time I have change Mobo manufacture from ASUS I have had nothing but DOA/RMA's etc, so I want to stick with ASUS.

Is there not much real world difference between the i5 & i7 when it comes to gaming?
Although gaming is my primary usage, I do dabble with webdesign and phostoshop/fireworks etc.

Hey Cookeh,
Thanks for replying, find it quite alarming if the P8P67 has lots of problems why OC are really promoting them! in their bundles eeek!

Going back to my opening post, I'm sure the 16Gb would be a noticeable improvement over the typical 4Gb wouldn't it? also help future proof a little with that much ram. (considering I'm using a Q6600 + 2Gb ram at present.)

Hey guys's

@ Moothead2 - I have considered separates, but I didn't want get dirty with over-clocking it, and for little extra that's all taken care of and I get a guarantee.

@ Reaper - yes mainly for gaming but I'm also heavily involved in photo shop, dealing with large images, so that's my thinking for the 16Gb, + id like to be BF3 proof :)
