New Build...Mobo's

Hi,

Do you guys reset the CMOS or flash the bios etc when you are building a new rig with all new bits i.e. mobo etc?

I am trying to find out who does what with their mobo after setting up all hardware etc....I mean do you add all the bits i.e. ram, gpu, hdd or do you add piece by piece so incase there is an error you can track it back easily?

I install parts in the following order:

1.PSU into the case
2. put mobo on antistatic material and install cpu, ram and hsf
3. install mobo into the case
4. Optical drives
5. Hard disks
6. Graphics card
7. Wire it up

I simply power it up, boot into BIOS and choose to load bios defaults, then save settings. I've only had to clear CMOS initially and that was with my DFI nF4 Ultra-D. It was a bit of a last resort to try figure out why it refused to boot up properly
